Cylinder-less Fire Suppression System
Cylinder-less fire suppression system, also known as a tube-based or self-contained fire suppression system, is a modern approach to fire protection that doesn't require bulky cylinders. The Cylinder less tube based fire suppression system is a unique and effective solution designed to automatically detect and extinguish fires.
The detection tube is filled with a clean agent which is almost odorless. It discharges as a liquid immediately dispersing as a gas and leaves no residue. It's important to note that the fluid doesn't conduct electricity or cause thermal shock damage. Comparing with powder or foam agent, you get the additional benefit that after use there is no extinguishant residue and consequently none of cleanup cost associated with foam and powder.
Cylinder Less Tube Suppression System
- Cylinder less tube suppression system helps to protect Vehicle Engine compartments and electrical equipment and vastly reduces the risk of fire spreading to other parts.
- The tube consists of a heat sensitive tube which is sealed at either end with stainless steel fittings. The tube acts as both the storage medium and as the fire detector. The tube is unaffected by temperatures of up to 120 Degrees Centigrade but fire is of course much hotter and will cause the tube to burst, immediately extinguishing any nearby flames
- The system requires no maintenance during its entire working life. It can be installed by any competent individual, and thus no training is required for installation.

How Cylinder-less Fire Suppression System Works?
- Heat Detection: A heat-sensitive tube is placed in high-risk areas like electrical panels, engine compartments, and industrial machinery. It constantly monitors temperature changes and quickly detects any sign of fire.
- Tube Rupture at Fire Source: When a fire occurs, the temperature rises rapidly. At approximately 120°C, the tube bursts at the hottest point, ensuring precise detection at the source of the fire.
- Automatic Agent Discharge: The tube is filled with a clean fire suppression agent such as FK-5-1-12 or HFC227ea. Once the tube ruptures, the agent is instantly released directly onto the fire.
- Instant Fire Suppression: The clean agent quickly turns into gas, absorbs heat, and extinguishes the fire within seconds. It leaves no residue, making it safe for sensitive electrical equipment.
- No External Power Required: The system is fully automatic and self-contained.
