Nearshore Booms

Our nearshore oil containment booms are constructed from a unique substrate compound of synthetic rubber, combined with an external layer of Hypalon (CSM) material. This homogeneous, one-process construction is completely cross-vulcanized with oil-resistant rubber and reinforced fabrics, resulting in a seamless, flexible structure with excellent abrasion and peel resistance, high tensile strength, and durability against sun, sea, and oil exposure.

Designed for use in both hot and cold climates, these booms boast an exceptionally long operational and storage life. They remain stable in currents of up to 3-4 knots and withstand gale force conditions, all while demonstrating excellent wave-following characteristics. When deflated, they lie flat for easy cleaning and storage.

The booms use a multiple-point inflation system that is simple to operate and deploy. If any chamber is damaged, it can be repaired individually without halting the entire boom’s operation. All fittings are stainless steel, ballast and tension chains are hot-dip galvanized, and vertical internal fiberglass rods secured with stainless steel brackets provide exceptional stability.

ACCESSORIES: UNIVERSAL SLIDING CONNECTORS

Designed to meet ASTM durability standards, Universal Sliding Connectors allow for seamless connection between multiple sections of oil containment booms. Their sliding feature facilitates smooth movement across varying water surfaces, making assembly and disassembly quick and efficient.

Compatible with various boom types, these connectors are ideal for emergency response and environmental cleanup teams, ensuring oil spills are contained effectively while protecting marine ecosystems.

ACCESSORIES: ANCHORING SYSTEM

Anchoring systems are vital for maintaining boom position during spill containment operations. Our system includes heavy-duty anchors, chains, ropes, and buoys, strategically spaced to provide excellent stability against waves, currents, and wind.

ACCESSORIES: TOWING BRIDLE

The towing bridle is a robust connector between the boom and towing vessel, made from high-strength synthetic fibers or steel cables designed to withstand harsh towing forces.

Equipped with secure shackles or hooks, it maintains boom stability and containment efficiency even in rough seas and strong currents.

Adjustable components allow for precise control over tow length and angle, enhancing maneuverability and reducing strain on equipment and personnel—critical for safe and effective spill response.

BOOM REEL

Our Boom Storage Reel ensures safe, easy storage, deployment, and retrieval of oil containment booms. Built with an A-grade steel frame and container corners, it features a high-torque planetary gearbox powered by a hydraulic motor.

Hydraulic brakes enable precise control to stop reel rotation, while a counterbalance valve prevents jerky movements, allowing smooth operation with forward, neutral, and reverse controls.

HYDRAULIC POWER PACK

Powered by an air-cooled diesel engine, our Hydraulic Power Pack is a versatile power source for hydraulically operated spill response equipment. It can simultaneously operate multiple tools, making it ideal for flexible, on-site operations.

Compact and portable, built on a steel frame with excellent air circulation, it includes safety features such as overspeed protection and a spark arrestor. The hydraulic circuit can be customized to suit different equipment requirements.

SPARK ARRESTOR

For enhanced safety, our power packs come fitted with a PESO-approved spark arrestor, which captures glowing particles in exhaust gases to prevent ignition of flammable materials.

OVERSPEED PROTECTION VALVE - CHALWYN

Chalwyn Overspeed Protection Valve

The Chalwyn overspeed valve is a spring-loaded safety device that automatically shuts down diesel engines by cutting air intake during excessive overspeed, preventing engine damage. The adjustable spring preload controls the valve’s closing threshold, and it remains closed until the engine is restarted.

HYDRAULIC HOSE SET

Our hydraulic hose sets feature quick-release connectors, rated for pressures up to 250 bar at 100°C. Made from oil-resistant synthetic rubber (R2 grade), the hoses are reinforced with two high-tensile steel wire braids, ensuring flexibility, durability, and resistance to abrasion and weathering.

AIR INFLATOR FOR OIL CONTAINMENT BOOMS

This portable Air Blower System inflates oil containment booms efficiently. Mounted on a trolley with collapsible or fixed handles for easy movement, it is powered by an air-cooled diesel engine and includes standard air hoses and nozzles for inflation and deflation.

The unit comes with a protective canvas cover for storage and transport.

LIFTING SLINGS

Our lifting slings include 4-leg webbing belts with an 8-ton capacity and 2-meter length, equipped with oblong master links and safety eye hooks for secure lifting. These slings, made from durable materials like nylon or polyester, provide excellent load distribution and gentle handling of fragile items.

Flat webbing slings feature reinforced stitching for added strength and easy attachment to cranes or hoists, making them essential for safe load handling.
